As our Workplace Investigations Director, Simon has extensive experience in law enforcement and regulatory investigations, holding leadership and senior investigative roles within the Metropolitan Police Service (UK), Western Australian Police Force (WAPOL) and most recently served 10 years as Principal Investigator for the Commonwealth Government Fair Work Ombudsman Complex Investigations Team.
Simon leads the workplace investigations team at Brennan and Associates Workplace Investigation Services, and brings extensive experience in workplace misconduct, grievance management, regulatory compliance and interviewing. With over 30 years of experience across policing, governing bodies and independent workplace investigations, Simon applies a structured, evidence-based and procedurally fair methodology to each and every case.
Having conducted more than 800 workplace, grievance and regulatory investigations, Simon has provided independent services for local and state government agencies, regulatory authorities, universities and private sector clients across Western Australia.
He delivers independent, legally defensible and impartial investigations including Crime and Corruption (CCC) referrals, Public Interest Disclosure (PID) and psychosocial related complaints, providing clients with confidence that their unique workplace matters are in good hands, no matter how sensitive or complex.
